Happy Valentines Day everyone!!! =)

Anybody doing anything special today? I'm just gunna chill and eat little candy hearts.
I dunno why but I love those chalky little hearts. They tend to get a bad rap but I think they're pretty good. =P

Is it really 2018 already? Guess the vacations over. I'll have to start drawing again. Feels like the months go by faster each year. *sigh* I wish I could play video games and read comics forever...

A very merry Christmas to you all! =D

Commissions are now closed for the Christmas season (save for the ones I still need to finish). They'll reopen in January. =)

In other news, Mega Man 11. It's happening. So expect me to spam you all with Dr. Wily pictures next year.

Finally got all the commissions from my Crash art sale finished! Yay! I want to say how grateful I am to everyone who participated. =)
Regular commissions will reopen in August. Meanwhile I want to focus on my own art. I've got some arts n' comic ideas rolling around in my head that I wanna draw. Mostly involving those lovable mad scientists the N. Team. The N. Sane trilogy gave me the motivation and inspiration I needed to get my Crash art groove back. =P
  • Playing: Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
I'm playing Crash 3: Warped first since that was the first Crash game I ever played. Which game are you guys playing first in the trilogy? =)
  • Playing: Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
That sounds like something obscene. XD
But anyways, my Crash art sale has ended now and I want to thank everyone who participated. You all made it a bigger success than I hoped.
Regular commissions will be closed as well since I'll be working on these orders all the way till the end of July. =P

I pulled out a filling while flossing my teeth. Yay, now I have to go to the dentist. *sigh*

Oh well, I'll just draw shirtless mad scientists. That always makes me feel better. =)

Sorry it's taking so long to get my commission sheet updated but these past couple weeks have been such a roller coaster ride. Action! Adventure! Drama! Suspense! Family obligations and patriot duties! It's been a non-stop thrill ride and I'm only just now getting a breather. Hopefully I'll be able to "officially" reopen commissions this week. And maybe get some more Crash art posted. =)

Is it 2017 already? It was a good year in gaming. With Ratchet and Clank, Skylanders Imaginators, Skyrim remastered and Crash Bandicoot returning I didn't want 2016 to end.
But alas time marches on, Christmas time is over and I need to get back to work. I'm making some changes to my commission sheet, so when that's done I'll reopen commissions. =)

In case anyone hasn't seen it yet the official trailer for the remakes of the original PS1 Crash Bandicoot games is out now: [link]

Also the Crash and Cortex figures from Skylanders Imaginators are being sold as a separate pack now for those who wanted them but didn't want to buy the game:

In other news I closed commissions for the Christmas season and will resume them again in January.
And now it's time for me to draw Crash art. =)
  • Watching: The Walking Dead
  • Playing: Skylanders (all of the games...)
There's been a noticeable lack of art this month, but my computer is so badly outdated that it barely runs programs anymore, so I ordered a new one. Once it arrives I'll be transitioning to the new computer (reinstalling all my programs, fun) so I should get art flowing again soon since I have several Crash Bandicoot themed arts/comics in the works. =)

Speaking of Crash Bandicoot, I'm enjoying the Crash content in Skylanders Imaginators.
Like many other Crash fans I wasn't interested in Skylanders, but I do think it's worth buying for the Crash starter pack (or adventure pack for those without the starter edition). Especially if Crash or Cortex are your favorite characters in the series. Even though it's only one level for Wumpa Island, it's still a decent sized level with mini games for Crash and Cortex (as in Crash only and Cortex only for their respective mini games). You only need one of the figures to unlock the level, but both to complete it at 100%. Plus Crash and Cortex each have unique dialog from the NPCs thru out the level so it's worth replaying with each of them. And there's also the added bonus of playing the whole Imaginators game as Crash or Cortex so it's kinda like having a new Crash game. =)

The Ratchet & Clank movie came out on Blu-ray/DVD/digital in case anyone didn't know.
Which is probably almost everyone.

*sigh* That movie deserved so much better...

I just saw the Ratchet & Clank movie today. I'm not doing a review, but there are some things people should know in case the bad reviews is detouring anyone from wanting to see it.
I wont say anything about what happens in the movie so as to not spoil anything, but I will say that despite the bad reviews (20% Rotten Tomatoes score at the time of this posting) it's not really a bad movie. It's not a great movie either, but not as bad as reviews make it out to be. I will say non-fans wouldn't enjoy it as much as those of us who play the games.
Is the movie worth seeing if you already played the remake game? YES. There's actually a LOT in the movie that's not in the game. As well as some noticeable differences. The most notable is the endings for the movie and game are different.

The movie will have more appeal if you're a fan of Dr. Nefarious (he has some of the best scenes) or Captain Qwark (he appears a lot) or if you wanted to see more of the new characters like Victor Von Ion, Grimroth or the new Galactic Rangers. The new characters appear a lot more in the movie and are fleshed out, and the relationships between characters are more developed.
There's also a lot more explained in regards to the plot and character motivations. Some events in the game sorta came out of nowhere, especially towards the end. But it makes sense because the movie actually shows the interactions between characters that lead up to the major events that occur later. Again, more development in the movie.

The best way to describe the movie is that it's the other half of the remake game. The movie and game are like two halves of the same story. They complete each other.
If you played the new remake game then it's better to go see the movie since there's a lot of story and events and character development that wasn't in the game.

So the bottom line is if you enjoy the Ratchet & Clank games then you'd probably enjoy the movie too. Oh, and stick around when the credits start, the extended ending is totally worth it. =D

A new year already? Man where does the time go..?
I'm working on a new commission sheet so once that's done I'll start taking commissions again.
Other than that there really ain't nothing new going on with me.
I really should draw some more Crash Bandicoot comics...
Welp, stay awesome, people. =)

Merry Christmas everyone! =)
  • Playing: Fallout 4 (PS4)
I was looking at my old Crash Bandicoot artwork and comics today. Good times.

Why must things change. Why does what we love go away. Why can't anything ever stay the same.
Though there is much to look forward to, I can't forget what is lost in the process.

Crash Bandicoot. Maybe some day...
  • Watching: Gotham
  • Playing: Fallout 4 (PS4)
New episodes of Gotham started this month. Finally a reason to watch TV again. That and Sonic Boom.
I can't wait for the "Batman: Arkham Knight" game this year. Oh my gosh Scarecrow as a main villain. I got a PS4 for Christmas so I'm all set. All my fan girl dreams are coming true!
With Sony taking an interest in reviving old game franchises you'd think Crash Bandicoot would be one of them...
So, what's going on with you people? Anything you guys are looking forward to this year?
